Willian Bahov da Costa
Project Manager
BEng, LEED® AP ID+C
Willian earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After five years of enjoying great opportunities for some large, local organizations he decided to emigrate to Canada. Once here he took a course in Project Management as he had discovered a knack for that aspect in his previous roles. He then worked in that role for a large project management firm in Toronto.
When Willian was ready to move on with his career Green Reason had an appealing premise. Growing up in a very large city, but spending weekends on a family farm gave him both a connection to nature and an appreciation for building green cities. However, it wasn’t his interest in sustainability that drew him to us. It was the variety of projects and customized approach the company takes with its clients. Willian loves analyzing a project’s problems and requirements to find the best solution, then seeing it through.
Willian manages project teams, develops solutions to a wide range of project challenges and has developed Green Reason’s capacity in Embodied Carbon Life Cycle Analysis. He’s motivated to continually improve and learn, he always believes he can do better!
Willian intends to explore more of the world and figure out how to enjoy what he loved back home here in Toronto, like classic cars, music, and dogs! Willian loved his dogs and time with the family farm animals so much that he actually started university on the Veterinary track.
