Sneha Ramaprasad

Project Coordinator

B.Eng. (architectural), LEED® AP BD+C

When the time came to settle on a degree focus, a respected professor at the University suggested Architectural Engineering, and Sneha was immediately drawn to the sustainability angle. At the time, Dubai was just starting the conversation on climate change, and there was an opportunity to lead the way on sustainable building. Knowing buildings have an enormous impact on the environment and that this was a path to make a difference, Sneha completed her degree and sought out roles in the building industry. Working as a sustainability consultant for a developer in Dubai, Sneha earned her LEED AP to support the large number of LEED projects she was working on and strengthen the credibility of her team.

Sneha wanted to learn even more about climate change because it is so important to everything we do. She came to Canada to earn a Master’s degree in climate change at the University of Waterloo to enhance her career and potential for positive impact. Sneha knows sustainable buildings are a key to mitigating climate change. She is interested in actually doing it, being part of a global movement to mitigate climate change. Sneha is driven to make a tangible contribution.

Sneha is thrilled to be working at Green Reason because we don’t only do LEED projects. She wanted to learn about other standards and approaches to truly sustainable building practices. Sneha is working on her master’s degree part-time while working at Green Reason. The work she does here is a natural extension of what she was doing in Dubai.

Sneha is a renaissance person: when not working or studying, she paints, hikes and spends time with friends.
