Nima Abbasi

Project Manager

M.Arch., M.Eng

Excelling at mathematics along with great creative talent and innovative thinking lead Nima to pursue their convergence: architecture. This field was one of Iran’s most desired programs and Nima beat out a lot of competition and gained an excellent education. With a good market for architecture, he began a successful career. Among working as an architectural designer, estimator, coordinator, and manager in construction Nima ran his own design-build firm in the residential and commercial markets.

While architecture combined the best of engineering and art, he also developed an interest in green building practices and even lectured on these subjects for eight years at the university level.

Upon immigrating to Canada Nima sought to adapt his experience and knowledge to his new home and expand his education by earning a second Master’s degree at Concordia University, in Building Engineering (Construction Management).

Nima brings a winning combination of extensive experience and knowledge to the Green Reason team. Believing in ongoing education, he is currently pursuing new professional designations as well.

When not working or studying, Nima loves to spend time with his greenest reason – his family.
