Early in her academic career, Maryam found she loved numbers and mathematics. Add in love for architecture, engineering, and management – together they lead to her a degree (with excellence) in Architectural Engineering. Before immigrating to Canada, Maryam enjoyed five years of project coordination experience in Dubai. There she was able to immerse herself in an explosion of creative architecture while fostering a love for the management/coordination aspect of construction.
Being well-organized and a systematic thinker, Maryam places great importance on timeliness and delivery. She has a special knack for driving people and projects forward and is capable of coordinating many at once. Maryam takes great pride in seeing her projects completed; looking at a finished building and knowing what she contributed.
Maryam is well aware of the impact of buildings on climate change proud to work at Green Reason where she can contribute and learn more. Solving sustainability issues are important for our future, our children. At Green Reason, she works alongside senior team members coordinating project teams. Maryam is excited to learn as much as possible about sustainable building practices through Green Reason and to be working towards related professional designations.
Outside of work, she has two daughters, who are her life and greatest motivation. She also has a passion for fashion, social media and is a voracious reader.
