In her studies to become an architect, Helen jumped at many great opportunities such as working at the Daily Commercial News, abroad in Singapore and China, and on the construction of the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex at her university. These were great foundations for early career choices.
Helen’s early experiences in school and in the architectural field exposed her to the construction industry. She then joined a commercial construction firm where she developed a specialty in project management. This fed her passion for connecting with people, getting to know them and working together to achieve great outcomes.
Now at Green Reason, Helen is focused on supporting our commercial project management clients helping complete several renovation projects. After her experience abroad, Helen appreciates the different approaches, and is happy to be working in a culture of more integrated design. She values the result of architects, designers, engineers and builders collaborating early in the process, with future occupants top-of-mind. Helen is extra pleased to be with a company that has sustainability as a focus – it is innate to her own philosophies and daily life.
Outgoing and adventurous, Helen is extremely active in many forms of self-improvement: from a love of fitness to leadership development. Her project management work has made her more aware of her surroundings and is eager to explore them.
