Senior Project Coordinator
BArch., MEng., LEED® Green Associate
Andrea’s original love: architecture began with a Bachelor’s degree in Macedonia, but quickly expanded to Engineering when she was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Tokyo. There she did her Masters degree in engineering, within the School of Architecture. Andrea then found a path in project coordination, through great opportunities with major Japanese firms such as Nikken Sekkei. Andrea had the opportunity to work on major projects in the Middle East and Asia.
After several years working in Japan and Asia, Andrea was looking for a place to call home, that would offer great opportunities in project management and sustainability. The original driver for her career direction was project management, but Andrea found a love for green building along the way. In Canada, Andrea found green building practices to be advanced and ingrained in daily practice. Motivations and approach are very different here and she’s excited to continue learning as well as to work with the highly knowledgeable and collaborative professionals she’s met so far.
Andrea joins the Green Reason team supporting project coordination for key clients.
Andrea currently spends a lot of time expanding her knowledge, plus green building and project management qualifications. However, she also loves exploring. After having seen much of Asia while living there, she is very excited to get started on her new home – Canada!
